Take Away 5

Not sure what the meaning of the ending was.  I think Pi was trying to say, "whatever story you choose, it's still God."  Being a non-believer, I still think it's bullshit but I enjoyed the movie, and I'm glad to have seen it.  I was raised Christian and believed in it until around the time I turned sixteen and started trying to figure things out for myself.  Jesus and the Devil didn't seem to fit into the equation for me.  I always liked the idea of the cycle of life, death, and rebirth.  Energy doesn't die, it transforms.  That makes sense to me in a simple way.  Great movie, if I ever have kids, I'll show it to them.
